Instead of flowers at a funeral, relatives or friends often ask that a donation be made to a charity of their choice.

Donations can also be made via the funeral director by prior arrangement. We will gratefully acknowledge all donations received, to both the donor and next of kin, (amounts will not be disclosed).
The story of Mrs. G:
Was self-funding until she reached the age of 102 when her savings ran out. The Guild continued to pay her fees from its charitable funds until her death two years later.
